Peter Hu '27 was selected as one of just five students from the USA to compete in the International Young Physicists Tournament in Sweden this summer!

The FCS IYPT team submitted five entries to the competition this year, covering research problems including "Water Bottle Rocket," "Climbing Magnets," "Spaghetti Accelerator," "Sound vs Fire," and "Wailing Bowl." Peter and his partner Lawrence Wu '28 submitted the entry "Water Bottle Rocket," which was selected. While Peter was selected to represent the FCS IYPT, the entire project was very much a group effort. Congratulations to Peter and to the other young FCS physicists.
